Founded in 2010 and based in Erlangen, Germany, H&P Advanced Technology GmbH is an engineering technology company that provides engineering services and develops own sophisticated technological innovations especially in the field of high frequency technologies, high voltage generators and high voltage pulse modulators for X-ray applications.
The business field of H&P Advanced Technology GmbH includes the provision of engineering services, particularly in development and quality testing of electronics, components, systems, and materials in the automotive, energy, medical and radiographic inspection industry such as non destructive testing (NDT) systems and related businesses and consulting services.
H&P developed as a subcontractor different electronic control systems including a high voltage source for several Department of Homeland Security (DHS) projects in the US. These systems were used in prototype systems for X-Ray applications.
Furthermore based on H&P’s carbon nanotube technology (CNT) and high voltage-switching electronic technology a mobile backscatter X-ray inspection system has been designed. This inspection system can be operated remotely for security applications.
